About the Maine Women's Business Center at CEI

The Women's Business Center at CEI provides workshops, counseling, networking opportunities, and assistance in obtaining financing to new and existing women-owned businesses in Maine. CEI administers the program directly for the State of Maine.

What services are available?

• One-on-one confidential counseling on issue facing start-up and existing buisiness, websites, and E-commerce.

• In-person, phone and on-line consultation

• Networking and peer support opportunities, both in-person and online

• Assistance in obtaining financing

• Workshops on critical business issues, financials, marketing, websites & E-Commerce

The application will give the Women's Business Center basic information about you and your business or business idea, and will enable us to serve you better. The WBC is required by funders to collect this information and it is kept completely confidential and only shared in aggregate form.

The Women’s Business Center at CEI has a strategic alliance with the Maine Small Business Development Center. The Women's Business Center at CEI is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.  Reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.
