The Women's Business Center at Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI) has a variety of services throughout the state of Maine that are designed specifically for you! Through its two specialized programs – one targeting rural Maine's women in business and the other for Southern Maine – we can help you start, maintain, or grow a business here in Maine.
Our unique Rim Counties Women's Business Initiative (RCWBI) reaches out to rural Maine women by providing WBC business counselors in Houlton, Farmington, and Machias as well as access to business help and training through easy-to-use online technologies that allow you to get the business advice and information you need regardless of where you live and your internet connection speed. Our Southern Maine Women's Business Program , with offices in Portland and Wiscasset, are designed to meet the needs of Coastal and Central Maine women in business. For more information, click here

The Online Directory of Women-owned Businesses will connect you with women business owners across the state of Maine and help you:
- Find new vendors: purchasing goods and services from women-owned businesses in Maine helps support our local small business economy.
- Find new customers: working with other businesses in the directory may open up new market opportunities.
- Establish business networks: searching the directory by town will enable you to identify women business owners in your area.
- Learn about educational workshops, networking events, and free business counseling that is available to women-owned businesses throughout the state from the Women's Business Center at CEI.
