Who Can Join The Maine Women Business Owners Online Directory?

We want all Maine businesses that are at least 50% women-owned to be represented in this directory and we want all women business owners to know that they can receive free one-on-one counseling services to promote their business through the Women’s Business Center at CEI, regardless of listing type on www.wbcmaine.org. In 2007, The Maine Women Business Owners Online Directory underwent a major renovation and there are now two ways that you can have a listing in the directory. Basic Listing: Cost – Free

This listing level is designed to make sure that all businesses in Maine that are at least 50% women-owned are represented to some extent in our directory if they want to be. The basic listing includes the following features:

• Business listing in one directory category and subcategory

• Inclusion in directory search by city/county, categories, & keywords

• Business name, primary products/services tag line, business address, phone number, email address, website address, and mapquest directions link.

• Ability to upgrade to a premium listing at any time.

Premium Listing: Cost - $50.00

Includes all the directory listing benefits above as well as the following full listing benefits:

• Inclusion in the featured listings section of the home page; all full listings randomly cycle through with each click on the home page.

• Ability to upload a logo/image file and include a full business description with your listing.

• Inclusion in as many directory categories and subcategories as fits your business’ products and services.

• All full listing business owners get a 50% discount on any CEI workshops!

Renewal and upgrades are easy. Just sign in with your username and password and select a payment method.

Financial aid is available to those who qualify based on the 2007 HUD Income Guidelines.The application must be completed on an annual basis. Financial aid applies only to workshop fees and premium listing fees for www.wbcmaine.org.
